KERRI ABRAMS

Kerri has 7 years experience designing for newspapers. Most of her time has been spent working on features pages for which she has received several awards from SND and Print Magazine.

Kerri earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication: Picture Editing/Page Design from Ohio University in 1997. Upon graduating she went to work for Copley Chicago newspapers where she worked on several of the Sun Publications. The next step was west to be a features designer for the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson, AZ. After missing the "city", she relocated to Dallas where she has been a features designer for 3 1/2 years.

During her career at The Dallas Morning News, Kerri has been part of several teams devoted to the development of new products aimed at young readers. Quick, a commuter tabloid launched by the Morning News in 2003, was developed and launched in a grand total of 10 days in order to respond to competition. Since then, Quick managed to beat out competition and continues to evolve on a daily basis.
