This startup health magazine was designed from scratch in a matter of weeks. The publisher had taken the project to another designer but was dissatisfied with the results. Then we got a call: “We have to publish this magazine in six weeks. Can you come up with a design and help us get it off the ground on schedule?”

The publisher outsourced design and production of the first issue to reduce their risk and get the first issue on the streets faster and with lower cost.

Bill Ostendorf served as project coordinator and Kristen Powell was the lead designer. Several other designers contributed ideas, including Jennifer Boucher.
